Authorities Investigating Cat Killed By Arrow In Upper Providence: Cops
Police are investigating after a cat was allegedly killed by an arrow just behind the Spring-Ford 9th Grade Center.

UPPER PROVIDENCE, PA — Authorities are investigating an incident in which a cat was allegedly killed by an arrow in a field just behind the Spring-Ford 9th Grade Center.
The incident occurred on June 10 near a yard that is in Upper Providence Township.
The Upper Providence Township Police Department confirmed the death and that they are looking into the case.

The Pet Reunion Project of Philadelphia shared an image of the cat and a heartfelt note:
"We have a sad reminder that some people can be cruel to animals. This cat was found in her yard in Royersford, killed by an arrow. The property is in the area behind the 9th grade center in Royersford. The person who did this has not yet been identified but the police are investigating. The family is devastated and wants to make sure nobody else suffers the loss of a family member by whoever may be out there taking aim at local animals. Please exercise precaution when letting your pets outside, and keep an eye on them to help keep them safe."
