Babes in Toyland to Perform at SF High School
"Babes in Toyland" to dazzle the audience during two Dec. 10 performances at Spring-Ford High School.

ROYERSFORD — Victor Herbert’s enchanting holiday performance, “Babes in Toyland,” will come to life with two stunning performances at the 10-12 Grade Center, 350 South Lewis Road, Royersford, on Saturday, Dec. 10. Sponsored by the Spring-Ford Educational Foundation, the annual holiday production will take place in the high school’s auditorium at 1 and 3 p.m.
Directed by Philadelphia-based American Family Theater Inc., the family-friendly production takes the audience on a musical- and dance-filled journey with characters Alan, Mary, Widow Piper, Jill and Barnaby, who are on an adventure to Toyland. The orchestra will also perform a number of songs during the production, including “Toyland,” “March of the Toys,” “Where There’s a Will” and many more well-known classics.

Following the 70-minute performance, the audience will have an opportunity to meet the cast members.
Admission for the musical is $3. Doors open to the public at 12:30 p.m. Those attending are asked to enter through door number 12 at the high school.
