Blood Test ID's Suspect In Break-In At Royersford Business: Cops

Three men are wanted in connection with a break-in at a Royersford business. Forensics has identified one of them.

ROYERSFORD, PA — Three men are wanted in connection with an attempted burglary at a Royersford business in 2018, and one of them has been identified.

The incident occurred on April 7, 2018 at around 4:44 a.m. at the Verizon Wireless store, located on 1836 Ridge Pike.

Police said that three men used a large hammer or axe to smash through the glass front door and break into the business.

The group then destroyed a second door, but were unable to steal any merchanise before fleeing the scene, according to authorities.

One of the suspects left blood behind at the scene. Pennsylvania State Police ran extensive lab tests, and in Jan. 2019, told Upper Providence Police that one suspect is Michael White, 33, the man pictured above.

White has a criminal record of numerous commercial burglaries, and he is wanted for incidents in several states, including New Jersey, North Carolina, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

On March 29, police shared the information with the public, and are asking anyone who has any information to contact police at (610) 933-7899.
