Overall Impressions of Season: "We bumped up our schedule for two reasons," head coach John Brennan said. "To give Tyler some competition in the district, and we've had some really good competition in the past couple of years. I think the non-league record, obviously we didn't do well, but I think it could help us. We also need to reevaluate where we are as a program. We played three of the top five teams seeded in districts this year. Council Rock North and Pennsbury also made the state team tournament. We need to evaluate who we're playing team-wise, especially with Tyler graduating. We have young guys. We're not going to have many seniors in the lineup next year besides Graziadei, [Seth] Ryberg, and [John] Gracie. We need to talk about who we're playing non-league. That's a big thing Mr. [Mickey] McDaniel need to sit down and work on. We obviously want to be better than fourth place in the PAC-10. We haven't been there in a while. There were two close matches in Methacton and Boyertown. We could have very easily been the second place team in the league too."

Best Match: "I thought we did well against Methacton. We came out with a strategy. We needed to win the three singles matches. Ryan pulled out a great third-setter. We lost in three sets at first and third doubles. That was probably the match we thought we were definitely behind in doubles and ahead in singles. Playing Methacton is tough, though."

Worst Match: "The Phoenixville match was the worst match. I think if we play them 10 times, I think they're going to beat us a majority of the times, but I think it's a lot closer. Tyler an Karlyn is a toss-up. Joey can compete a little bit better at this state of the year. Ryan, as the year went on, really found a groove. Our doubles were brand new in the beginning of the year. It was early in the season. I think we're better than the 1-6 loss we had to Phoenixville early in the season."

Story of the Year: "The first story is the culmination of Tyler's career here at Spring-Ford. He put Spring-Ford tennis on the map individually and as a team. I know we had Bobby Ferguson, who was a really great player here for Spring-Ford in the late-90s. But, the teams weren't as good. We had a really good player and some good kids when Tyler was here. I think that's a story - how do we go after Tyler graduates.

"The other thing was the emergence of Joey and Ryan. Ryan really stepped in ot the third singles spot. He could challenge Joey next year. Joey took on the leadership role on this team. He can get guys motivated and playing. Those are two things I see down the future for us."

Unexpected Leader/Player: "You have to say Ryan at third singles this year. The way he played this year, I'm really proud of him. He played a lot of really good competition. He didn't get down on himself. He kept working hard. He's going to be another key in the program in the future."

Thoughts About Next Year: "I'm excited for next year. We've got a lot of kids back. Ryan said there's a couple of eighth graders that can play a little bit. So, maybe we'll have some more freshmen in the lineup. The thing I told the kids when we played Methacton was that they only had a couple of seniors in their lineup. Karlyn's going to be back at Phoenixville. It's going to be a matter of who puts the time in the offseason to try to get their games better and really kind of separate the PAC-10 play."

Seniors Next Year: Graziadei, Ryberg, Gracie

Final Thoughts: "I really appreciate all the coverage this year. It's good for the kids."
