Have you ever wondered what you can do to show your appreciation to our Brave Veterans?
Today we remember our beloved veterans. We thank them for their service and sacrifice. Many have left us over the years, but it is not too late to reach out to those who remain. Have you ever wondered what you can do to show them your appreciation?
The Philadelphia Veterans Multi-Service and Education Center (PVMSEC) is located on North 4th Street in Center City Philadelphia.( PVMSEC.org ) It is staffed by caring people, many veterans themselves, who are dedicated to serving those who served us all.
As soldiers, they put their needs second. They put the needs of you and me first. Now, when they return, we need to put them first. PVMSEC provides a hot shower, a hot meal, job training, counseling, legal advice, a friendly ear, and a smile. Things many of us take for granted each day.

This organization is run entirely on grants and donations. State funding has decreased significantly over the years. They need our help! It is wonderful that our soldiers are coming home! But these same soldiers are going to need help. This may increase the burden on an organization that stretches as far as it can go.
