Attack abs from Within!

Seeking six pack abs!!

It seem like everyone is looking for those 6 pack abs.  I’m sure you have all heard to do the 1000 crunch thing or the magic Ab Roller not that these things are all bad but we all seem to want a short cut.  Believe it or not there is No short cut!   Proper exercise, diet and understanding of how your core works along with patience will give you the results you want. First thing you need to understand is the pretty rectus abdominus muscle, the one that shows those amazing ripples, does not hold your belly flat nor did our creator give the same genes to everyone to have the same shape.  The important ones, I call our girdle muscles are your transversus and obliques. These are the muscles that keep our belly flat.  Once your abs are flat then you can add weights to crunches etc. Till then you have to concentrate on exhaling on all ab work, by pulling your belly button to your spine. This not only strengthens your internal organs, but also will give you a flat base to develop those ripples.  Correcting most posture issues will usually cut 1 to 2 inches off your waist.  Do not hold your breath when doing any exercises, there are no exceptions! If you want a balloon to get smaller you let the air out!

Try this twice a day for a good jump start:

Shoulder and glute against the wall tilt pelvis and drive belly button to wall while exhaling heels are on floor.
