There's something about that first game of the spring. It's a sure sign that, yes, winter really is over and summertime will be here soon. I can remember many years that even though the boys of summer were were out on the diamond, the weather didn't seem to want to let go of the winter. But with the temperatures hitting 70 yesterday, there was no doubt that it's time to play baseball.
With the Phillies already half way through their spring training schedule, I'm ready for the season to start. When I saw that Spring-Ford had a scrimmage, and I had no plans for the afternoon, I decided to go take a few pictures. The Rams finished last season with a 22-5 record last year and nearly won the state championship. The way they looked today, it should be another great year...
