Dear Dad

Dear Dad,

Have I thanked you lately? Have I told you I love you? Have I given you anything that makes up for all that you've given me? Have we talked lately?

All of these questions dance in my head when I take the time to think about you, Dad. You have always been the rock in my life, that certain someone that I could count on who has given, and given, and given. If I can give my daughters half of what you've given me, then they'll have a real chance of achieving something in this world.

It's because of you that I am a hard worker, a loving parent, and almost intelligent. Without your guidance I wouldn't have had a chance at knowing success. You were my teacher and mentor, my father and my friend. You were my greatest asset...

So thank you Dad, for everything that you are and have always been! I LOVE YOU...
