Spring-Ford (3-2) defeated Methacton 3-1 in their first match at home this season. Simone Stewart, Jordyn James and Aley-Kate McKinley scored the goals for Spring-Ford and Hailey Sherman scored for Methacton. Jordyn James scored a header goal on a corner kick by McKinley. And McKinley scored on a penalty kick goal after a push from behind was spotted in the box. Stewart beat her defender in a 1v1 and beat the keeper with a shot to the upper corner of the net.
