Making Photos More Exciting

Adding excitement to your pictures...

Just Picture It...

Technology has a way of changing the way we do a lot of things.  And there’s not a lot that’s changed more than photography.  The way we record photographic images has changed several times since the  process first began.  The practice of using a piece of equipment with a lens to record an image, by tracing a projected image onto a dark wall, had been done for centuries.  But the process of actually being able to record an image and reproduce it has been around for about 175 years.  The methods and materials used to create and print images has evolved from using various chemical and metal combinations to the current practice of recording images electronically.

Another major change to photography has been how easy it has become to alter the image that was recorded by the camera.  There was a time when “photographic evidence” was pretty certain proof as to how something looked.  But that’s no longer the case!

It’s so easy to manipulate digital images, you almost can’t trust any picture any more.  You can take things out, put things in, change colors, just about anything you can imagine.  You can also use techniques to show motion and create more exciting images.  And that’s what I like to do.
