Oh Where! Oh Where! is Clara Gudolonis
First Edition of Between the Lines: Where is Clara Gudolonis?
Spring-Ford School Board Member Clara Gudolonis has not attended a school board since September 19. 2011. She has missed the last seven school board meetings. During that time the Spring Ford School Board has been operating with only eight members. This is in direct violation of school board policy #004. Below is excerpt from school board policy #004

A Board member who neglects or refuses to attend two (2) successive regular meetings of the Board, unless detained by sickness or prevented by necessary absence from the district, or if in attendance at any meeting neglects or refuses to act in his/her official capacity as a school director, may be removed from his/her office on the affirmative vote of a majority of the remaining members of the Board.
Clara should give an early Christmas present to the Spring-Ford Community by tendering her resignation as soon as possible. Short of that, the school board should vote to remove her at their next scheduled meeting. The school board should enforce their policy as written.
The voters and residents of Limerick and Upper Providence townships should have full representation on the Spring-Ford School Board. A school board member who misses more than 30% of the meetings should be replaced as soon as possible.
In early January 2012 many important issues will come up for a vote by the Spring-Ford School Board including a 130 million dollar budget. I hope we can have these meetings with a full complement of nine board members.
