Upper Providence Supervisor Candidates debate Tuesday night
Meet the Upper Providence Township Supervisor Candidates - ask them what they will do if they are elected.
For all our Upper Providence Township neighbors and registered voters who read the Limerick Royersford Spring City Patch, this is a reminder for an unprecedented election event.
The Oaks Neighborhood Association is doing something unusual, something that hasn't been been done before in Township history.
On Tuesday, Nov. 1, at the Green Tree Church, 1078 Egypt Road at the intersection of Green Tree Road, between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m., citizens will have an opportunity to ask questions of the two candidates for the open Supervisor's position.

George Faris (Democrat) and Lisa Mossie (Republican) have confirmed they will attend.
The debate is open to all. This the only pre-election event where both candidates will be in the same room at the same time and taking questions from the community.

The event will be moderated so questions directed to one candidate will be given to the other. An opportunity for each candidate to provide rebuttal to any question or statement will be provided.
For those who don't know what the Oaks Neighborhood Association is, we're a non-partisan group of residents who care about safe streets, good government, responsible development and the value of our residential community. We organized a few years ago because we didn't like what was happening around us: unresponsive elected officials, developers in the back pocket of government, too much traffic on streets where our kids play, and on and on. We believe we've begun to have an effect on the destiny of our little village area.
We encourage you all to get involved. Here's an opportunity to find out who will be representing you for the next six years as Supervisor in Upper Providence Township.
