Want to Reduce Allergies? Start with your Home’s Air.

Now that the weather is turning, we are getting closer to tree and grass allergies.  If you start running your air conditioning, these allergens will be blown throughout your house through the duct work.   A suggested way to clean up your home’s air is to use a whole house air cleaner that is installed on your HVAC duct work.   There are several types of air cleaners that can make your life more comfortable when installed on your heating and air conditioning system.  There are media-type filtering systems, electronic filtering systems and high-filtration combination systems that make use of both the electronic and media types.  If you don’t suffer from allergies, this is also a great time to change the filters on your air conditioning system before the first day you turn on the A/C.  Many service repair calls are generated simply because a dirty filter is blocking air flow to your home.   An annual spring start-up by a certified technician is also a great way to make sure your system is fully charged with freon and won’t let you down on the hottest days of summer!
