The majestic and iconic Budweiser Clydesdale horses will make a ceremonial appearance in Royersford this week.

ROYERSFORD, PA — The majestic and iconic Budweiser Clydesdale horses will make a ceremonial appearance in Royersford this week, the borough announced.
The horses will be at Parktown Beverage, on 310 North Lewis Road, on Thursday, May 25, officials said.
The horses will arrive at around 4:15 p.m.

Traffic is expected to be backed up in the Lewis Road area.
The traveling horses, a symbol of the Anheuser-Busch company since 1933, make hundreds of appearances throughout the year, and have previously participated in events in local municipalities like Ambler, Pottstown, and West Chester.

According to organizers, Budweiser Clydesdale horses must be at least three years old, six feet tall, and weigh 200 pounds.
During the early 20th century, the Clydesdales delivered beer by wagon. They traveled with a dalmatian to protect the horses and their goods while they were on the road.
