Car Fire Shuts Down Road In Limerick Near 422
Breaking: An accident in Limerick Wednesday left a vehicle in flames near Route 422.

LIMERICK, PA — An accident led to a vehicle fire near Route 422 in Limerick, leading to a shut down of Lewis Road, authorities said.
The incident occurred at around 10 a.m. near the intersection with Linfield Trappe Road.
The vehicle, a red four door sedan, had flames coming from under its hood and enveloping the front seat. Large plumes of black smoke were sent up in the air.

The fire was extinguished by Limerick Fire Department crews shortly thereafter.
