Christmas Morning Accident Leaves 2 Injured on Route 422 in Royersford

An accident early Christmas morning on Route 422 left two people injured, the Royersford Fire Department said.

The accident occurred on Sunday morning at about 3:33 a.m. on 422 westbound in Royersford.

A vehicle was found in the center median and another was found about 50 feet down the embankment, officials said.

Both drivers were treated for injuries.

Officials said that crews were on the scene for about an hour.

The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the incident.
