'Crew Of Thieves' Looting Cars Around Spring-Ford, Nearby Area

Police are warning the public to be on the lookout after a series of thefts from vehicles in the local area.

According to the Spring-Ford Area School District and authorities in local municipalities, incidents have taken place in both Montgomery and Chester counties.

Spring-Ford described the the suspects as a "crew of thieves" operating mainly during the daylight hours.

The district also warned residents and school employees to not leave valuables in vehicles.

Shopping centers, hospital parking lots, and corporate centers have all been victimized, according to authorities.

Police are aware and the incidents are under investigation.
