Driveway Scam Artists Active In Royersford: Cops

ROYERSFORD, PA -- If someone comes to your home claiming to offer driveway sealing, don't let them in.

Police in Royersford announced Tuesday that they have received several complaints of a man going around town soliciting this service.

No one in the borough has a permit to sell driveway sealing currently, police said.

Authorities believe it is part of a ruse to burglarize local homes.

"If you see or have contact with any such persons please call police. Do not let anyone in your home that you did not call for or schedule yourself from a legitimate contractor or repair company," police said.
