Dumpster Catches Fire In East Vincent Township

Crews battled a dumpster fire in East Vincent in the early morning hours Sunday.

EAST VINCENT TOWNSHIP, PA -- Crews battled a dumpster fire in East Vincent in the early morning hours Sunday, authorities confirmed.

The incident occurred at around 1:36 a.m. Sunday morning on Jefferson Drive in the Washington Square Development.

The dumpster, which contained rubbish from the construction site, was up in flames when crews arrived on the scene.

It took about 45 minutes to put out the blaze and leave the scene, according to the Liberty Fire Company.

It's not yet known what caused the fire.
