East Vincent Brush Fire Spreads To Vehicle, Extinguished

A brush fire in East Vincent spread to a vehicle and towards the woods before firefighters cut it off Tuesday.

EAST VINCENT TOWNSHIP, PA — A brush fire was battled in East Vincent Township on Tuesday afternoon, spreading to a vehicle on the property before it was extinguished.

The incident occurred at around 1:52 p.m. on April 9 on the 500 block of Pikeland Avenue.

When crews arrived on the scene, the fire was rapidly spreading from the property into a nearby wooded area, officials said.

Crews from Spring City and Royersford worked together to battle the blaze, and had it out within 15 minutes.

Crews were clear of the scene in less than an hour.

No injuries were reported.

Liberty Fire Co. of Spring City and Royersford Fire Department responded to the scene.
