Catholic Schools Week Opens

Parish Liturgy at 10:30 a.m. kicks off the opening of Catholic Schools Week, 2011:   A+ for Catholic Schoools.   Students will read and cantor at the liturgy and a special presentation will be made.

Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Education Center invites prospective students, their families and members of the community to visit on Sunday, January 30 from 12:00 – 2:00 to see how our school benefits our community.  Visitors will be able to learn about the programs offered for preschoolers to 8th grade students; visit a wax museum created and staffed by our sixth grade, drop into our book fair, register for the upcoming school year or simply pick up enrollment materials.  Students will conduct tours and demonstrate science projects.

National Catholic Schools Week is a joint project of the National Catholic Educational Association and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.
