Photographs from Iraq Art Exhibit

Leesha Quigg, a Montgomery County Community College student and U.S. Army civil affair specialist, recent served a year in Iraq, photographing the simple, poignant moments of the Iraqi people: children playing in the street, students learning in refurbished schools, and widows attempting to rebuild their lives.

Quigg's photographs will be on display during a special exhibition, "Photographs from Iraq," April 6-29, on the second floor above the North Hall Gallery.

The exhibit is open 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Friday. Closed on weekends. Admission is free, and the exhibit is open to the public.
