The Bacchus Boys with Andrea Carlson

The Bacchus Boys's will be returning to Chaplin's Music Cafe' with a new lineup, for an evening of friendship, laughter and song.

Guillermo Bosch, Rob Gunther and Sewell Wallace are all members of the Oprheus Club of Philadelphia, and regular campers at the Philadelphia Folk Festival. They will join returning Bacchus Boys Baird Standish and Peter Evans, rolling out some of the songs that they have sung through the years together at OC and PFF. The boys will also tackle some new covers from sources as diverse as The Decembrists, Peter Gabriel, ABBA,Jonathan Edwards and Leonard Cohen. They may even have time to sneak in a Peter Evans original or two! The stage at Chaplin's is similar in size and feel to the Orpheus Clubhouse stage on Van Pelt Street in Philadelphia, and is quickly becoming a favorite stage for OC musicians in the area to play and listen to music. Chaplin's does not permit campfires on stage, but the Bacchus Boys will try to recapture some of the late night magic from their Folk Festival sessions.
