LIMERICK — Evans Elementary School fourth-graders learned the importance of good oral health after a local dentist gave a presentation during a Dental Health Month event on Feb. 15.

Collegeville dentist Dr. Adam Weiss taught students simple tips to achieve and maintain good dental hygiene, such as brushing and flossing their teeth, and visiting the dentist regularly. Dr. Weiss also explained the dangers of chewing tobacco and the harm it can have on the mouth. At the end of the presentation, students were given gift bags filled with floss, toothpaste, disclosing tablets and an informational paper to take home.
