
One family was displaced after a fire raced through a building near 400 Walnut Street on Tuesday night, according to the Royersford Fire Department.
Station 98 was dispatched to the location at about 10:53 p.m. Tuesday and found heavy smoke and fire coming from the second floor window, fire officials said.
Crews from Ladder 98 and Quint 63 entered the building and found fire in the stairway and the bedroom, according to officials.

Within 30 minutes, the fire was under control, officials said.
Departments assisting Royersford on the scene included Linfield Fire Company, Spring City Fire Company and Skippack Fire Company, officials said.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, according to officials.
No injuries were reported.
