Fatal Accident At Providence Town Center Under Investigation

One person was killed during a crash in the midst of a rainstorm recently at Providence Town Center.

UPPER PROVIDENCE, PA — One person is dead after an accident during a rainstorm at Providence Town Center earlier this month.

The incident occurred on Jan. 19 at around 9:23 p.m. at the intersection of Route 29 and Town Center rive.

Police said that the victim, a 62-year-old man, was driving a Dodge Dakota southbound on Route 29.

That's when he struck a street light on the concrete island in the intersection with Town Center Drive.

The driver, who was the only occupant of the truck, was taken to Paoli Hospital by Trappe Ambulance, but passed away later on.

Police are investigating the incident.
