Overall Impressions: "I was really surprised how the girls came together," said head coach Jennie Moore. "Like I said, we always knew what type of team we had. We kind of just put everything together toward the end of the season. I couldn't be much happier with the way our season turned out and the way our girls came together."

Best Game: "There was probably two of them: Plymouth-Whitemarsh in our first round of districts. Just the way we dominated and then they came back and tied it twice with less than a minute left. We never gave up or lost our composure and won with seven seconds left. That one really tested our character, but overall play-wise, it has to be the Henderson game. We dominated every single aspect of that game."

Worst Game: "Perk Valley the first time we played. That was after Simone got hurt. We just had no heart. We weren't there mentally, physically."

Story of the Year: "It was probably just overcoming all the adversity we faced. No one believed that we would get to where we were. All the problems we had: the injuries and everything all-around. We pulled it together finally at the end of the year. That's the proudest thing for all the girls is that we turned it around and started playing together as one."

Unexpected Leader/Player: "We have a lot of good underclassmen. Savanna Malloy really picked it up this year defensively. Last year, you never heard her talk and this year she was one of the loudest people on the field. So, she really picked it up. Caroline McKenna stepped it up defensively. I love Taylor Brennan, who was just a freshman this year and did really well."

Thoughts About Next Year: "I feel good! I mean, we're losing a big senior class - some key contributors - but you know what? Everyone's got to go through that. But, we have a lot of starters back. I think we'll be okay. We're just looking forward to getting our season started."

How Many Seniors Next Year? Five.

Final Thoughts: "I'm just glad we finally brought some excitement back to Spring-Ford field hockey. Last year was the start of the right direction. This year, we really propelled it and got people excited about our team. That's really something to build on over the next few years."
