Officer Lewis,

On February 21, 2011 at 0953 hours, I received a phone call from Keisha Mennefee, bringing to my attention a concern she had about an extra-marital affair she was involved in with a Spring City Police Officer. The contents of the conversation included you being specifically named as the officer in question. Her concerns involved what would transpire when the knowledge of this relationship became public. Based on this conversation and independent confirmation from multiple witnesses, this verifies information that has been brought to my attention. Prior to this date, you yourself brought a concern to me about Ms. Mennefee; at that juncture, I advised you that it was in your best interest to sever your ties with her in order to avoid any appearance of impropriety.

As a result of my investigation and conversations with Mayor Weiss, we have determined that your continuing behavior is unacceptable for the Spring City Police Department.

Your employment with Spring City Police Department is hereby terminated, effective immediately.
