January 2014 Real Estate Market Statistics

The January 2014 Real Estate Market Statistics (provided by TrendMLS) are officially posted for all our local counties: Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia.  Year to date for Montgomery County in January 2014, settled single family homes were up 3.20% from last year.  The average sales price in Montgomery County came in at $316,000 up 2.93% from the previous year.   Looking at our surrounding counties, Bucks County was up 6.51% in settled single family homes at an average sales price of $337,000, Chester County was down 3.02% at $330,000, Delaware County was down 13.29% at $258,000, and lastly Philadelphia County was down 15.39% in settled single family homes at an average sales price of $179,000.
