Lifelong Royersford Man, Spring-Ford Employee, US Army Vet Passes at 85
Royersford's Harry P. Roberts served in the US Army Signal Corps and worked for Spring-Ford High School.

Harry P. Roberts, age 85, husband of Virginia M. (Miller) Roberts, of Royersford, Pennsylvania, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2017 in the Phoenixville Hospital. Born on August 20, 1931 in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Harry and Helen (Graham) Roberts.
Mr. Roberts served in the United States Army Signal Corps from 1952 through 1954. He worked for and retired from the Spring-Ford School District as a custodian in the High School, and he loved country music.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Roberts is survived by one son, Richard T., husband of Cynthia Roberts of Pottstown, PA; and sister-in-law, Sandra Miller. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Shirley D. DeBeque.
