A Limerick business owner has been convicted after reportedly advertising and selling drug paraphernalia.

LIMERICK, PA — A Limerick business owner has been convicted after reportedly advertising and selling drug paraphernalia.
Sentencing for Craig Hennesy, 49, of Spring City, is forthcoming. Hennesy was the owner of the West Ridge Pike-based Piper's Smoke Shop.
The Times Herald reports that glass pipes, grinders, and bongs were all discovered at the shop in July 2016, just a month before it was scheduled to open.

Hennesy's lawyer reportedly argued that the items were intended for legal uses, like smoking tobacco.
Prosecutors said that Hennesy knew the items he was selling were used to smoke marijuana and that his client base was largely college students who were marijuana smokers.
