Limerick Community Day Welcomes New Format For 2017

The Limerick Community Day is rapidly approaching. Here's what to know.

LIMERICK, PA — Limerick Township Parks and Recreation and the Spring-Ford Chamber of Commerce are excited to announce a new format to an old favorite. Limerick Community Day will return on Saturday, August 19th from 4:00pm – 7:00pm in the evening. This year’s event will include, area food trucks and feature a beer garden by the Railroad St. Bar and Grill; a community expo featuring local businesses, non-profits and area vendors, as well as a display of area first responders. To bring the evening to a close, NorthPointe Community Church will be hosting a family movie night under the stars at dusk. This year’s feature will be Disney’s Finding Dori.

Kicking off the afternoon will be the Spring-Ford Area School District High School Marching Band, a special appearance by Morgan Lee Pennsylvania USA Ambassador Miss 2017 and a variety of Kids Sports activities provided by Jump Start Sports.

In addition to the evening time change, the business expo will be located in the field area allowing plenty of room to roam and explore over 80 exhibits including 101.1 More FM, Wawa, Patient First, Philadelphia Premium Outlets and much much more.
