The Nuclear Regulatory Commission recently completed their performance review of Montgomery County's nuclear generating station.

Limerick met all the safety and performance standards required by their overseeing body, the report showed.
Limerick's 1 and 2 reactors scored a 92 and a 100, respectively, on the "power scale," according to NRC.gov.

There are 99 operating nuclear plants in the United States. Of that total, 85 were found to be in compliance. In Pennsylvania, Susquehanna's reactors required minor changes to come into compliance. They have already resolved their issues, officials said.
Limerick is owned by Exelon.
In response to critics, the generating station has previously said that the facility takes "extraordinary measures" to maintain the welfare of the community's health and water supply.
