LIMERICK, PA — The nuclear power plant will hold its full volume siren test Monday, June 3, which will be heard within a 10 to 15 mile radius.

The alarm is not a cause for concern and is part of routine safety testing.

The test on Monday, which will begin at 2 p.m., is a "full test" of the alarm, which is conducted semi-annually in December and June. Partial, shorter tests are held on the first Monday of each month.
