Limerick Man Had 3,000 Images Of Child Porn: DA

A Limerick man was arrested after a massive trove of child pornography was found in his home, much of it including girls as young as three.

LIMERICK, PA -- A Limerick man was arrested after a massive trove of child pornography was found in his home, the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office announced Thursday.

Zackary Geib, 28, faces 700 counts of felony abuse of children and possession of child pornography, according to the DA's Office.

Detectives received a cybertip in October regarding suspicious activity at an IP address that was later traced to Schwenksville, police said.

Police executed a search warrant on Geib’s home on Oct. 4 and found 3,074 sexually explicit images of children on his laptop, the DA said. At least 1,000 of the images showed young girls between the ages of 3 and 14.

Geib was arraigned on Nov. 14 and bail was set at $100,000. Geib was released.

A preliminary hearing is set for Dec. 12.
