The man was struck by his own driverless car.

LIMERICK, PA -- A Limerick man was killed after a runaway car struck him, according to a report.
Gary Blanchard, 60, of Abbey Drive, was trying to move two of his cars in the street at the same time when his own 1991 Volvo station wagon hit him, the report states.
He was found lying on the ground at about 11:22 a.m. on Monday, February 22, according to the report.

Witnesses said that he was moving his Volvo when he saw his Nissan Sentra begin to roll, the Pottstown Mercury said.
When he got out of his Volvo to stop the Nissan, he allegedly left it in drive, and the Volvo rolled back down and struck him, eventually striking a home on Abbey Drive, causing minor damage, the report states.
