Limerick Nuclear Plant To Host Community Information Night

LIMERICK, PA — Limerick Generating Station will host a community information night this week for residents to learn more about what goes on inside the plant.

The event, free to the public, will take place on Thursday, Aug. 30 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. inside the station.

According to Exelon: "Plant employees will be on hand to discuss plant operations, environmental stewardship, radiological safety, emergency preparedness and much more. Visitors also can tour the station's control room simulator, which is used for training reactor operators."

Petrucci's will also be on hand to provide free treats.

Registration is request but not required.
