Limerick Police Announce Several New Supervisory Promotions

LIMERICK, PA — The Limerick Township Police Department recently announced several new promotions of officers to supervisory positions.

The promotions came at the tail end of the recent township meeting.

"The promotional process spanned several months this year consisting of a written test, interview and supervisory assessments," police said. "We are very proud to announce the promotions."

The following promotions were announced:

• Detective Pat Roche to the rank of Sergeant
• Officer Brian Tyler to the rank of Sergeant
• Officer Steve DeAngelis to the rank of Corporal
• Officer Shawn Pancoast to the rank of Corporal
• Officer Steve Winneberger to the rank of Corporal
