Limerick Station Donates $60K To Montco Swat Team
Limerick Generating Station has donated $60,000 to the Montgomery County SWAT team.

LIMERICK, PA — The Limerick Generation Station has donated $60,000 to the Montgomery County SWAT's Western Region team, officials announced last week.
Authorities said that the station had been discussing unfunded needs in the local police community with Chief Michael Foltz, MSWAT-W team Commander, and Corporal Steve Morrisey of the Pottstown Police Department.
"This is great example of camaraderie, not only at the site, but between our security and external protective services," Exelon said in a statement. "Our contribution could protect and allow an officer to go home to their family after a dangerous shift...This contribution helps strengthen relationships in the community and will help keep our employees safe, as well as members of the community we serve."
