Limerick Supervisor, Royersford Mayor Race Highlight Election
Locals are voting in several interesting races Tuesday, including Spring-Ford School Director, Limerick Supervisor, and Royersford mayor.

LIMERICK, PA — Residents of Limerick and Royersford are voting in several interesting races Tuesday, including Spring-Ford School Director, Limerick Supervisor, and Royersford mayor.
In Limerick Township, Democrat Patrick M. Morroney is facing off against Republican Thomas J. Lane for Supervisor.
The Spring-Ford Area School Director's race for Region 2, meanwhile, features Democrat Kathleen Drennan against Republican Clinton L. Jackson.

And in Royersford, voters must choose between Democrat Jenna Antoniewicz and Republican John K. Guest Jr. for mayor.

The statewide ballot question addresses taxing on the local level:
"Shall the Pennsylvania Constitution be amended to permit the General Assembly to enact legislation authorizing local taxing authorities to exclude from taxation up to 100 percent of the assessed value of each homestead property within a local taxing jurisdiction, rather than limit the exclusion to one-half of the median assessed value of all homestead property, which is the existing law?"
