A Limerick woman will spend time behind bars after beating her daughter and endangering her other children, police said.

LIMERICK, PA — A Limerick woman will spend time behind bars after beating her daughter and endangering her other children, according to court documents.

Lauren Olson, 33, will spend the next nine to 23 months in prison on charges of endangering the welfare of her four children, documents state.

Olson was first investigated in May 2015 after her daughter told school officials that she was being beaten, a criminal complaint states.

Her four children said that they lived in a constant state of fear of being physically beaten, police said.

In addition to the physical assault, Olson also allegedly left marijuana cigarettes around their home, and her boyfriend's guns were easily accessible, according to authorities.
