LIMERICK, PA — Limerick's K9 Rambo is more ready to serve and protect than ever before after a charitable donation.

Rambo will receive a bullet and stab protective vest from Vested Interest in K9s, a nonprofit working to provide lifesaving body armor for working dogs around the county.

The vest donation, from Vested Interest in K9s, Inc., is sponsored by Triad Truck Equipment of Pottstown.

The quote "Honoring those who served and protected" will be emroidered on the side of the vest.

Vested Interest has supplied 3,300 vests to K9s in all 50 states at a value of $5.7 million.

A private donation of $950 allows Vested Interest to provide K9s with a vest, which sosts between $1,744 and $2,283, they said.
