Longtime Royersford Man Passes At Age 86

William T. Ochs, age 86, of Royersford, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2017 in Seasons Hospice, Phoenixville. Born on November 16, 1930 in Phoenixville, he was a son of the late Verda (Berky) and Benjamin Franklin "Frank" Ochs.

William was a graduate of the former Royersford High School and had been employed at the Royersford Spring Company.

He was an avid woodworker and loved high school sports, especially football.

Mr. Ochs is survived by a sister: Eleanor L., wife of Stanley Kopistecki, Sr., of Royersford; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his siblings: Paul Ochs, Edward Ochs, Ralph Ochs, and Phyllis Heffline.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be the Rev. James R. Roth. Interment will follow in the Fernwood Cemetery, Royersford. Friends will be received from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Wednesday at the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home.
