Longtime Royersford Woman Passes At 69

ROYERSFORD,PA -- Judy E. Umstead, age 69, wife of Robert T. Umstead, of Royersford, PA, died Monday, October 10, 2016 in the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA after a lengthy battle with ovarian cancer. Born on November 18, 1946 in Petersburg, WV, she was a daughter of Leanna K. Chuck, of Petersburg, WV and the late Denver C. Riggleman. She was a graduate of Schwenksville High School. Mrs. Umstead worked at the Premier Payroll Company and the Kohl's Department store both in Royersford, PA. Mrs. Umstead was a member of the Parker Ford Baptist Church. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Umstead enjoyed making crafts of all kinds.

In addition to her husband of 44 years, Mrs. Umstead is survived by her Daughter, Stacey A., wife of Douglas Stong of Collegeville, PA; Granddaughter, Jordyne M. Stong; Sister, Martha Sue Riggleman of Kutztown, PA; Two Brothers, Michael D. Chuck, Mark T., husband of Darlene Chuck of Royersford, PA; and many Nieces and Nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Ceremony at Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA on Friday, October 14, 2016 at 10:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. Robert E. Davalt, II. Burial will be held in the Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, PA. Friends will be received from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm Thursday or from 9-10 am Friday at the funeral home.
