Main St., Arch St. Road Closures In Royersford Pushed Back

The planned road closures for construction on the train tracks in Royersford have been pushed back, officials said.

ROYERSFORD, PA — The planned road closures for construction on the train tracks in Royersford have been pushed back, officials said.

Norfolk Southern had originally planned the work for around Jan. 14, and signs were put up near Main Street and Arch Street announcing the upcoming closures.

Many residents expressed concern that the two roadways would be closed simultaneously, causing unthinkable congestion. The borough said they told Norfolk Southern that closing both at once was not an option.
