LIMERICK, PA — Some local traffic woes should now be abated, as the Main Street bridge in Linfield has been reopened following the completion of construction.
Construction to repair the bridge, which runs over the Norfolk Southern Railroad, began back on Feb. 18.
The bridge, which was built in 1968, requires a new parapet and bridge deck, as well as sidewalk and protective fencing. Crews will also repair the abutment and pave approaches to the bridge.
