Main Street Royersford To Be Repaved

It's the first time the heavily trafficked road has been repaved in more than 20 years. Here's what you need to know.

ROYERSFORD, PA — Main Street Royersford will be repaved for the first time in 20 years, borough officials announced recently.

The paving tentatively begins on Sept. 23 through Sept. 27, when ADA ramps will be installed at 2nd Avenue and Main Street.

Then from Sept. 30 through Oct. 3, Main Street will be prepared and milled from 5th Avenue to 1st Avenue. That will take place in the evening, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Paving will then take place on Oct. 7 and Oct. 8, with line sealing and painting on Oct. 9 through Oct. 11.

The paving will take place as Royersford has negotiated to take back control of construction on Main Street and 2nd Avenue from PennDOT earlier this year.
