Man Knocked Unconscious, Woman Assaulted In Royersford: Police
A confrontation turned violent Wednesday night in Royersford, as both victims were hit repeatedly, police said.

ROYERSFORD, PA — A man was knocked unconscious and a woman was hit repeatedly during a violent confrontation Wednesday night in Royersford, according to police.
The incident occurred at around 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 25 on the 500 block of Church Street.
James Bolden, 44, of Norristown, became involved in what police called a "verbal argument" with a man and a woman. It's not clear what started the confrontation.

During the incident, Bolden struck both the man and the woman multiple times with his fists, authorities said.
The man was knocked unconscious, and when police arrived Bolden was standing over him, according to officials.

The woman was nearby and waved police down as they approached.
Police arrested Bolden at the scene and taken to Montgomery County Correctional Facility, where he was arraigned. He's been charged with aggravated assault and attempt to cause severe bodily injury, terroristic threats, harassment, and simple assault.
It's not Bolden's first run in with the law, as he was charged with a separate incident of assault in 2020 and public drunkenness in 2018, according to court documents.
Bolden failed to post bail and he remains at Montgomery County Correctional Facility. A preliminary hearing is set for March 9.
