Med Evac Helicopter Landing To Kick Off PJPII Student Career Fair; Professionals Representing Over 35 Careers To Present To PJP Students

ROYERSFORD, PA – APRIL 22, 2012 – Whether students are in their Freshman, Sophomore, Junior or Senior class, they’ll undoubtedly face a decision in the future in regard to selecting a career path or vocation.   To help introduce the students of in Royersford to the broad range of careers that are available to them, the PJP Parents Association, in partnership with the Administration, are hosting their first-ever Career Day on April 24 from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m.  

Over 35 speakers will be presenting to the students in 15-minute sessions, so they’ll have the chance to learn about four different career options from Accounting to Veterinary Medicine.

The event will even be kicked off in dramatic fashion as the speakers discussing careers in Emergency Medical Services will arrive in grand style – landing the MidAtlantic MedEvac Helicopter on the PJP Football and Lacrosse field at 7:30 a.m.!

Many of the presenters are parents of current students while others, including a professional actor, Veterinarian, executive with the Reading Phillies and a professional musician, have no affiliation with the school but have volunteered their time to give the students a unique insight into their professions.

ABOUT POPE JOHN PAUL II HIGH SCHOOL
