Montco Armed Robber Cuts Clerk With Knife: Cops

LOWER POTTSGROVE, PA — A convenience store clerk was injured during an armed robbery in Lower Pottsgrove in the early morning hours Tuesday.

The incident occurred at about 2:40 a.m. on July 3 at the Turkey Hill on 3051 E. High Street in the township.

The suspect, a black male in a white t-shirt and khaki shorts, came in wielding a knife and demanding money, police said.

After a brief struggle with the clerk, during which he cut her hand with the knife, he took an unknown amount of cash from the register and fled the area, according to authorities.

Police said he was last seen heading west.
